Last day ...

Just 25 miles to do today, but John decided to cycle up to a panoramic view point. A 500ft climb. The idea was to get a good view of the Lot and Goron joining together, but it was foggy!

Dinner in Aiguillon

One of our favourite restaurants from last year. The tables are setup in the middle of the street!

We have decided to call ourselves 'The gourmet cyclists'!

Day 10 - Cahors to Aiguillon

Big event today - after 51 miles we passed the 500 mile point. We stopped at a cafe and had a beer to celibrate. We did a total of 72 miles today. Not too difficult as it was mostly flat. We are now in a hotel in Aiguillon, the same one we stayed in last year. It is also the end of the Lot river so we have cycled the length of both the Ardeche and the Lot rivers.

This is our last night on the road and we have a fairly easy day tomorrow to get to Monbahus and the comforts of John's house.

Everyone is still OK if getting a little tired after 10 days of continuous cycling!

Still not got good internet access. Will update pictures when we get to John's and possibly some video as well.

Day 9 - to Cahors

Again still not good internet access. A good ride today, started cold and foggy by the river but warmed up. Bought bread and cheese and ham and had a picnic again for lunch. About 51 miles covered today.

Day 8 - Espalon to Capdenac

It was cold when we started out today, but warmed up later. We decided to buy bread and cheese and pate and have a picnic lunch by the river. 52 miles today. Internet access not very good, so more pictures when I can upload them.
