First day - TGV

We had a wait of about 90 minutes for the connection at Lille onto the TGV train down to Avignon. A very comfortable double decker train. We were upstairs. Not sure what the highest spped we did, but we did clock it at 180 mph on the GPS.

We arrived on time at 2:40 in Avignon having caught a glimpse of Mont Ventoux from the train.
